Improve site add-to-cart and conversion rates through data-backed A/B testing while maintaining the premium branding.

The company had already run several tests with little to no improvement in their conversion rate. They needed an expert team to do proper testing backed by research.

PHASE 1:
Research Report
As always, detailed research was the foundation of all our initiatives. We collected 150 pages of insights, customer feedback, google analytics data and other learnings.
Some of the key areas of improvement we identified were:
- The main drop-off point was from “View Product” to → ATC”
- Durability was a major doubt
- Prospects were risk averse and needed
reassuring with a warranty - Benefits and differentiators not clear
PHASE 2:
A/B Testing
Once we learned what was wrong with the site and where the users were dropping off, we made a prioritized roadmap of experiments and started testing Product Page variants.
Here are the changes on some of the big winners :
- Listing benefits above the fold
- Added “FULL LIFETIME WARRANTY” callout under the Add to cart Button
- Adding the completely new “Durability” section
- Added “Upgrade to a set” Upsell section
PHASE 3:
Performance monitoring & Results
Leaning on the drop-off and CvR insights from our research, we decided our main KPI’s were Add-to-Cart and conversion rate. Here is what we concluded:
