ABOUT:
Tabs Chocolate is a premium brand offering all-natural pleasure enhancement chocolate designed to improve intimacy for couples and individuals. With a blend of high-quality ingredients such as cocoa, maca root, and epimedium, Tabs offers a unique product aimed at enhancing sexual drive, stimulating blood flow, and boosting overall performance.
The challenge:
Despite the high-quality offering, their Shopify store wasn’t converting visitors into customers as effectively as it could have been.
When we first looked at the Tabs website, we identified three critical issues that were hindering their success:
Trust Issues: Visitors doubted the legitimacy of the store, often associating it with dropshipping, which decreased their trust in the brand and the product.
Lack of Product Understanding: Many visitors didn’t understand how the product worked or how it could enhance their experience, leading to confusion and low engagement.
Price Perception: The product was perceived as overpriced for the value it provided, which made potential customers hesitate before purchasing.
These problems were preventing customers from moving forward in the buying process and led to an underperforming website.
GOAL:
The goal of the redesign was clear and measurable:
Improve the Customer Journey: Fix the trust issues, clarify the product’s benefits, and enhance the perceived value, making it easier for customers to make a purchase.
KPIs & Stakeholder Benefits: The focus was on driving improvements in conversion rates, average order value (AOV), and add-to-cart rates, while also providing a better, smoother shopping experience for the customer.

CRO Deep Dive
CRO Deep Dive is the cornerstone of our process, and we always start with it. Using tools like heuristic analysis, analytics, surveys, heatmaps, and user testing, we gain a clear understanding of how visitors engage with the website and where they drop off. Design Brief
Using our findings, we crafted a design brief to address the key pain points—trust, product messaging, and price perception. We focused on improving product clarity, ensuring the site felt legitimate, and adding trust-building elements to enhance customer confidence.

PHASE 3:
Development & Launch
Once we and the Tabs team were aligned and happy with the design, we moved on to the development phase. The goal was to create a website that not only addressed the identified challenges but was also user-friendly and easy for the client’s team to manage moving forward.
So we developed the new store in a way that managing it would require minimal effort so that Tabs’ team could handle changes without needing advanced technical knowledge. This approach allowed them to handle everyday tasks independently, giving them full control over their site.
During the development phase, we maintained close communication with the Tabs team, providing them with training on the new features and functionalities.

PHASE 4:
Performance Monitoring
After the launch, we closely monitored the key performance indicators: conversion rates, AOV, and add-to-cart rates. User feedback was incorporated to make real-time improvements, ensuring that the site continued to perform at its best. Here is what we concluded:
